We had a blast and met some really great people at the TICA show this past weekend. Ermionida Mendelssohn did well for it being his very first show at 1 year of age. He took 1st in color and 1st in division for every ring, and he took 3rd for breed in three different rings. 👏🏼🥳
Thanks (no thanks) to COVID disrupting our plans to show Mando as a kitten, he was a little reserved. He had no issues with the show hall noises or being handled by the judges, but he was almost too chilled out, HAH! We did get some really great feedback from the judges about his structure, color, and pattern. The only constructive criticism offered was that he needs to come out of his shell a little bit and show himself off more (i.e.: he didn't care to chase the teaser wand or scratch on the scratching posts - he was happy just chilling up on the judging table😂).
