This weekend we were out in Simpsonville, SC for the annual It's TICA Time Fall Feline Festival. We entered two of our boys in the Long Hair Championship class: Uno and Orion.
Both boys did such a good job with enduring their show baths, blow outs, and traveling to and from the show hall.
While they both started off the first day pretty timid at first, thanks to the patience of the judges and a few helpful tips from those benching near us, we were eventually able to get them out of their shells and showing themselves off.
Orion left the show on Day 1 qualified for a Champion title, and at the conclusion of Day 2 he earned enough points and finals for Grand Champion.
What we are the most excited about is that at 8 months of age, Uno, who was bred and born in our cattery, earned Champion status!
Even with the show being closed to the public there was a really good turn out. We got a chance to meet some amazing people and had an all around great time. We can’t say THANK YOU enough to all the hard work of those who made this show possible.
I’m sure it goes without saying, but we are also incredibly proud of our boys and we are looking forward to what the future holds for the both of them.
