Mitz and Mando are Expecting!

Today we got ultrasound confirmation, MITZ is going to be a first time momma!

Lake View Coons is excited to announce that Tassel Magic Delight P (aka MITZ) and Ermionida Mendelssohn (aka MANDO) are expecting. Their litter is due January 8th, 2021.

Both Mando and Mitz carry dilution, and Mando carries the non-agouti (solid) gene, so there’s a possibility of blue, blue smoke, black, black smoke, brown tabby, and silver tabby kittens in this litter. Since Mando is with white, some of the kittens could be with and some could be without white.

It’s still super early in the pregnancy, so the veterinary doctor couldn’t confirm any more than one kitten heartbeat; however, depending on how she handles the pregnancy, we may decide to do an X-ray closer to her due date just to get a more accurate count.

Please note: Right now there are NO AVAILABLE KITTENS and when kittens are born they are kept under breeder evaluation for the first 8 weeks.

With that being said, we have had an influx of adoption applications come through over the last couple months, and just wanted to let everyone know that we will keep these on file for when our kitten availability status changes (we will contact individuals in the order their apps were received). No need to submit another application unless your contact info or living arrangements have changed.
