Some of our favorite cat shows to enter and attend are those hosted by the It’s TICA Time cat club and after a temporary venue change in 2021 due to COVID, the “Stars and Stripes” show finally returned to Raleigh! We were especially excited to attend this year because not only was the show open to the public, but it was with this very venue that we began showing just two years prior.
We thought we’d attend with two of our boys (Quadruple Grand Champion StarArk IAU Orion’s Hunt & our homegrown Champion LakeViewCoons Humble Beginnings Uno), but in the end, despite the big plans we had for him, Uno decided he was happiest as a spoiled pet and not the future king we had hoped he would be. Nuetering Uno changed our plans for the weekend and freed up some space, so we decided to bring two of our future queens in his place (as exhibition only) .
We are happy to report both LakeViewCoons Twisted Fate and LakeViewCoons Anchored Hope did such a good job traveling in a vehicle, staying overnight in a hotel, and being around all the sights and sounds of the busy show hall. And, we even had a chance to introduce them to some really great people that took time out of their busy schedules to drop by and say hi.
All in all it was a great show! We had a lot of fun and got a chance to spend the weekend with a lot of really wonderful people.
