Breeding always involves taking calculated risks, but a breeder can mitigate those risks by knowing the pedigree lines they are working with and performing all of the necessary health screening that’s recommended for the breed. When it comes to picking keepers, it’s important for a breeder to make decisions based on the written standard and prioritize the work of preserving the Maine Coon breed.

Over the weekend we had the opportunity to travel to Pigeon Forge to attend the very first TICA Allbreed Cat Show hosted by Harmony Cat Club. The club volunteers, members, and judges put on a fantastic show. All in all it was a really fun three day weekend away!

We had such a great time at TICA’s “Another Summer Celebration” show this past weekend, hosted by the North Alabama Feline Fanciers (NAFF). We attended with two of our future queen, affectionately called Blurry & Blue (registered as LakeViewCoons Anchored Hope & LakeViewCoons Twisted Fate).
